        Definitely my favorite as far as classic trucks. The body lines are unlike anything else. Super unique and cool

        Every 2wd Chevy truck needs big notches and bags

          I started cutting up the front. I don't even have my drop spindles yet, it's gonna be plenty low. Right now the fender should be 4.5" off the ground and I have 2.5" drop spindles coming

                so i finally decided on a color. i was trying to decide what color and i chose a navy blue and i wasn't even considering it. so i did a crappy spray out with out prepping or anything

                and then i threw one of the hub caps on to see what it looked like

                  and then last night i was taking a hammer to the inner fender to open it up a little more with out cutting and i slammed my thumb into the jagged sheet metal

                      Ha yeah I had my gloves off for like 10 minutes and this happened. I'm all good now.

                      Have been doing a lot to it. Will update it with photos tonight

                        so heres some updates:
                        i got the car sitting on the ground and started finding some stuff that i can modify to get the elevation little closer to the pavement;
                        -the rear crossmember is touching the ground so i can cut that and get little lower
                        -the trailing arm was hitting the frame so i cut a little notch for that to drop about an inch lower
                        - in the front the exhaust down pipe is about to touch the ground and definitely will when i put the drop spindles on but i don't think i am going to rework the exhaust so guess I'm dealing with that. if i do modify that it will go down another 1.5" before the front crossmember touches the ground

                              Worked on it a little more today but now I am at a trampoline park supposed to be watching my niece and nephew. I will update for with photos when I'm in front of a computer

                              Also I figured out how I am going to mount my bags in the rear. I have the over axle kit but it doesn't allow the amount of lift I want so I am mounting the far forward on the arm and it should look super clean
                              All the air ride should be in and working this week

                                i threw the bed on last night because i didn't have the pieces i needed to fabricate the bagged mounts so i had nothing else to do. i just threw it on and it is clearly not lined up but its nice to get a taste of what its going to look like. gives me some motivation.
