Exactly why I really wanna follow all the way through. I don't wanna be one of those epic build threads that pop up then half way through the op disappears haha

I'm in no rush. My goal is to be at SOWO next year.

Some of the plans I'm figuring out so far-

Brakes:
I'm gonna do a wok wood dual master cylinder brake and clutch pedal setup

Either brembo cayenne calipers up front and 4 piston boxer calipers in the rear or wok wood 6 piston up front and 4 in the rear. Or if a brand wants to sponsor I'll take free parts of any brand 😂 rofl

Fuel system:
Doing a 12 gallon fuel cell in the trunk
Have decided on the fuel pump and everything yet

I would love to do a dry sump setup but I have no idea if that's gonna happen or not

Power wise I'm aiming for around 400hp. I plan on keeping it NA(at least for now). Hopefully the ls3 cam, a tune, some small internals will get me around there. I really really wanna do ITB's also but once again I don't know if it will happen or not.

Thanks man. Only part of it is my shop space the rest is the business I manage where we sell theater and auditorium seating. My boss lets me rent out about half of it for my shop.

I really wanted to do a w8 but cost was the biggest factor. I'm getting a 5.3 LS with 105k miles for $220 and an ls3 cam for $30 and it has a massive aftermarket where as a w8 would have cost me a couple grand and had very few aftermarket parts

would of been cool to keep it in the Volks family but yea of course cost factor and performance factor wise the ls will work perfect !!

I thought about doing a more sleeper look but my goal for his was full race car and zero f**** given. I've always wanted to do a build like this but never had a full on project car. I know I'll get **** for the wing but given its going rwd and I love big wangs I'll be ordering one soon 👍🏼

I have decided that in not going to put my bags on this car now. I have another mk4 Jetta that's my daily and my OEM+ style build. I decided the race car should have the coil overs and I'm just gonna throw my bags on my daily.
