Hello everyone, this is going to be my build thread about my 2005 Impreza wagon...
This is my first car, I purchased it about 2 years ago. I absolutely love the way the wagons look and how sleeper they can be. The car is slow as shit, 165hp stock gets boring pretty quick (boring even before I drove the car) however I bought the car knowing I would turn it into a full out "racecar" one day... Here are photos of my car and what ive done to it so far and what's to come.
when I first bought the car, rally armor mudflaps, hella horns and gold rims were mandatory!

then I purchased coilovers from my cousins 2004 STI. I ran into the problem that the collars of the coilover were so long that they were hitting my axle boot. for now they'll do...

One thing that pretty much ALL 10 year old subarus (in my area) have is rust in the rear quarter panels... I knew I was going to run an aggressive fitment in the future and the thought of rolling my fenders with bondo'd quarter panels made me feel uneasy..
Whats the simplest way to remove rust? cut it off of course!
I brought my car to a guy in my area that makes fiberglass body parts. He made and installed 50mm wide fender flares for me. I also installed an sti front clip. He's got his own website, his company is called Wideworks.

Now I know I have replicas (ESR SR01), they are 18x10.5 +22 with nankang tires...
They are sold now and I have my new wheels (three piece) waiting to be installed... more on that farther down.
I ended up getting the parts painted. Girlfriend for scale

Now winter is here and the car has been in storage since November... Once the snow melts and the salt was been cleaned up from the roads Ill be taking her out of storage.
I contacted Cimon at SCALE suspension, he set me up with exactly what I need.
I got the innovative series with the extreme low option 14kg/12kg springs, front and rear camber plates. I haven't gotten them yet but I will make a small review on them on this thread once I receive them. One thing I can say is the customer service is awesome. Very nice guy and very responsive.
Now for the new wheels. I am building the wheels myself. New lips and barrels ordered from VRWheels.
I painted the rear barrels black. Lips are full polished. The faces are the original chrome from Work, they do have blemishes but rechroming is crazy expensive and Im happy with the way they look... specs are 18x11-38. Anyone have suggestions on tire brand thatll stretch nice and have good handling? looking to get 255/35 or 245/35.
