Biggest neckbreaker of the show, Mikey Condons widebody 350z. And to the right a 823whp E46...

I starting getting a noise from the brakes. Sounded like rust on the rotors.
Brought the car into work and cleaned up my rotors, black plates, pads and calipers. I also regreased the bracket and slider pins. Noise hasnt come back.

    after:
    backplate painted black.jpg

yes I painted the rotors completely, the paint on the contact area with the pads will burn/ wear away. I sand blasted the rotors and the back plates.

    Looks good!

Pretty awesome that you put the flares on over the doors! hahah. You might make some brackets that go between the car and fender and use some epoxy to glue them together.

Hahaha yeah that would be awesome. But I plan on cutting the flares eventually to be able to use the rear doors. I gotta heat the flares up so the stay in position so when the cut is made they won't flex and be misaligned

    Finally got the wheels installed!
    1.jpg

Had to replace each wheel stud. Rears are a hassle to replace due to the abs ring being bolted to the back of the hub which blocks the studs from getting out. Had to disassemble the handbrake. 11 year old handbrake springs are no fun to work with. back plate is all rusted. those are going to get replaced when the swap is done anyways..

    big booty anyone?
