today i got a chance to take a break from wedding planning (getting married next friday) and work on my car and get a few things done. i took my power steering pump off and got a shorter belt to just temporally delete my power steering. i ran the car into the telephone pole across the street to sink my bumpers. i got a new battery. adjusted my coil overs. set my replica pfeba valance on the car to see what its going to look like. and then after all of that i drove it down to the gas station and put some air in the tires and then i tried to go on the freeway but it vibrates pretty bad at 50 mph because i desperately need a new idler arm and i need to put the bottom frame support bar back on to sturdy some things up. i still need to cut my bumper trim and put my rear bumper on but its not looking too bad right now.

oh and you will probably notice that my driver side fender is trashed and that is because a friend bought the coil overs that were on the car previously from me and when he put the car back together he forgot to tighten the lug nuts apparently and the wheel came off and trashed my fender. but worry not he is fixing it. just haven't gotten around to finding a fender or anything. too much to do and not enough time

i was super excited that i got to go to the stance works open house! it was such a rad day with amazing cars and even better people. i can't say that enough. super rad to put faces to names or instagram names or cars.

heres how my day started off:
i came out to my car and saw that one of the 4 tires i just got at Discount Tire was already flat and so i filled it up and i could hear it pushing air out so i drove to discount but they were closed to i ended up buying a new tire from a little shop near my place and i was on my way.

        everything else went very smoothly

Those US spec bumpers are ruining it for the car.. euro bumpers are way better, love this build tho!

this is the first start up of the car because i couldn't figure out how to post a video at the time. it sounds like it has a rod knock because of the video just picks up the audio oddly and because the motor hadn't been started in 3 years so none of the lifters were lubricated yet. its sounds really good now.
