my AC Schnitzer type 1's came in the mail today. They are 17x8/9 et33 and 45. so they have 1.5" lips front and rear. I will have to run probably 13mm spacers and i will be getting either 2.5 or 3" lips for them.
its not that bad. Since i built my own motor mounts i was able to mount it an inch or so higher than when you do the swap in the e30s so i have pretty good clearance. i will still be getting or making a skid plate for it
my dad has been working on the exhaust for me and he finished it tonight but tomorrow we have to get exhaust gaskets for the headers. i also got my coilovers but i need to adjust the height for sure. i am super busy this week and i will probably get it all done next week
my exhaust is the following:
replica turner motorsport shorty headers
1995 m3 cats/mid pipe
and a Billy Boat tri flow catback
i realized i didn't update prior to finishing the exhaust.
i spray the car off and brought it to my dads because he has a lift so i was able to get my pedal assembly, coilers, ChaseBays stuff and all the rest of the car done.
There's four things I love about this thread and can relate to:
1) You took a photo of your USPS lady, I basically have the same exact lady at mine, she's not nice.
2) You updated your thread while at a birthday party, sounds like something I would do.
3) Your dad sounds like a badass and could be a huge influence on why you take on big projects like this, I'm in the same boat.
3) Soon you'll have an S50 powered E28. While I can't exactly relate to that, I can appreciate it.
I have CAtuned coilovers on my E30 and they are awesome, you'll be very happy with yours. Hopefully we'll cross paths at a show someday or something, would love to see this in person. Keep it up!

1) my USPS lady is alright but she never listens to me and then gets mad at me. she's tells me i need to stop ordering heavy things
2)im not a very social person haha anything to keep from interacting with humans
3) this is definitely all my dads fault. i have been only taking pictures of my e28 in the garage but right next to it is his 1966 GMC Suburban frame with all tubular suspension, noted frame, LS1 and a bunch of other goodies. definitely his fault for me always biting off more than i can chew with car projects
4) i am definitely very excited to get this thing daily ready! and your e30 is coming along super great by the way
i hope we do meet at some shows this summer! i am going to try to go to a bunch when the car is done. unfortunately i am going to miss BimmerFest again this year because i am getting married a in 2 weeks so i am a little busy haha
some exciting updates on my e28 this weekend. so i stayed the nights at my dads house on friday because i was helping him get a bunch of retaining wall bricks early in the morning so instead of getting some sleep for said activities or maybe finishing my online class that is do the next day i decided to stay up until 3 AM getting some stuff on the car sorted.
when testing the exhaust the other day we found a couple pin holes when it was tight to get the welder in so we dropped the exhaust and got those filled:
