i should have waited for my dad to help me build the mounts because i suck at welding and now they look ugly...but they'll hold

and the other weekend i picked it up from a friends house where its been for a while and i was going to bring it up to Castro motorsport but then i was influenced by my girlfriend telling me not to spend that much money on something i could do and my father telling me it was easy so i started wiring myself:

Always thought about an m5x/s5x swap into an e28... but the e39s are where my heart lies

Liking it so far, wouldve been nice if you cleaned up the bay while the engine was out though

i am just going to get it running right now and after i get the exhaust work done it is coming back to the house and i am going to get all the mounts I'm not using grinded or cut off and then i am going to get the wiring cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint in there. definitely not leaving it all nasty in there.

i never understood why people went through all the work for a motor swap and in the end it looks worse than factory
