Yeah I'm pretty excited for new wheels. I tend to get bored pretty quickly but I think being able to tuck harder now that the bumpstops are off and better wheels will keep me satisfied for a while

Ok so Rotiform's are out, I have new ones I'm picking up probably Saturday. I feel like a large number of people haven't heard of these wheels, or at least seen them

Let's see them! I like the car. Not an air fan, but it looks good. Actually thought about a GLI or a Passat myself. I just can't bring myself to do fwd. I'm a rwd or awd guy.

Ok so change of plans... again. going to stick with the Rotiforms, but I'm still holding out on what exactly they are because I'm excited for it. They should ship my way on the 12th

So wheels arrived yesterday, tires came like 3 weeks ago lol. Tires will be mounted Saturday, so I think I'll show them off once I get everything mounted.

Okay, soooo here they are



Not some fancy 3 piece Rotiforms, but I can say I love them! The quality is leagues beyond the WCIs, no apparent casting marks and the finish it top notch.

The mounting process was a bit of a hassle and took some time to get it done (directional tires + directional wheels = trouble for some people )

I can finally tuck the wheels in the back which I'm very stoked about! The next few updates will probably be some quick shots I've taken around and me at some car shows

Import Alliance was pretty legit, although very hot. For some reason my SD card decided it needs to format, which means deleting all the nice pics I have from the show. So I guess I'll show off the iPhone pics and others I poached from Instagram








Even found a new friend!!





Towards the end of the show I parked near my buddy's booth, Dream Wraps. He does amazing work to vinyl wrap your car. The workmanship and quality is beyond anything else I've ever seen. Just walking around the show area it was amazing seeing the difference in standards between him and other companies. Here's his chrome-wrapped mk6 APR stage 2 GTI, including the wheels! If you're in the northern Kentucky, Cincinnati area, I wouldn't suggest anyone else. He did my gloss black roof wrap and installed my windshield banner.
