I also plan to use as much of the air ride system from the Lexus, but will be modified so its slammed and may use different air springs, but the main system with height sensors etc should be ok to use. -

My next project is a Reliant Scimitar SE5, got it for a good price (Free) which is always a price I like to pay!
The reason for it being free is that it’s an awful nasty looking example and no one wants to give any money for it yes it’s a real shitter!
Perfect for a Rat Rod build! Always fancied having a Scimitar so now I have one, looking forward to getting stuck in, and it’s going to be a shocker and slammed!
The nastier looking the better! The wife’s not keen on it and she’s not even seen it yet! So a few nights sleeping on the sofa will be all for a good cause I hope?
In my defense its tax exempt so running cost are going to be buttons.
I also want to keep in the theme of cheap, free, and low cost so nothing expensive or shiny is going on it.
Banded steels, and really, really low, may even do an air ride install but again its all going to be built with crude junk, big chunky manual hand operated air valves, and big old air compressor driven off a motor pulley.
The "Scimitar" script on the rear is going to be re-badged to read "S h i t t e r"
