After I got the body back on the frame I made front core support mounts, lined up fenders and hood and pushed it outside to get a first look at it all together

MOST OF YOU KIDS WITH ADD SHOULD PROBABLY STOP HERE BECAUSE FROM HERE IT GETS REALLY BORING

I used the wiper motor from the S10 which also gave me intermittent wiper

This was one of the biggest pain in the ass things-
I used the steering column from the S10 because everything bolted in and has tilt also thought it would be easier because the wiper switch, dimmer, hazard and ignition switch were all on it-BUT most newer columns use smaller gauge wire with external relays and the ignition switch was wired to to CPU with and anti theft-but mad props to the S10 forum for all the wiring schematics-
The other pile of wires you see is a universal wiring harness from Speedway Motors that was a piece of cake after figuring out that column
Hindsight 20/20 I would have used an older colomn

I would think something like making the lights work would be simple once you have power to them but the awesome German engineering from 1972 didn't survive
The tail lights have a printed circuit board that was shorted out and brittle so there was a lot of soldering and epoxy,I should have drilled holes in the backs and snapped in some universal bulb sockets or used LED strips, the fronts weren't as bad except for the outside lens already being broke,2 of the side indicator light backs were broke and missing so I epoxied some universal sockets on them

I made this shity looking box to hold a shifter a got from a 65 mustang (I had to put at least 1 ford part on it so whatever breaks I have something to blame it on)

I used a master cylinder from a Monza because it had the right size bore to work with the stock proportion valve and brakes,I also drilled the brake pedal lever up higher for more leverage since I removed the power booster

I shorted the seats so his head wouldn't hit the roof-I thought they came out pretty cool
