    i love it man! keep it up!
    got a w114 myself, but my engine just has about 50.000 miles on it, so im keeping it stock for the first few years haha
    youre giving me a whole lot of motivation to get to work again!
    i really like youre car!
    and the hood looks amazing btw!

    The dash was in bad shape and had been caught on fire

    so i made a panel to cover up origanal controls soaked some cherry veneer and glued it all up with contact cement

    I had to get rid of the original patina rotors and my lightweight rust proof spacers for something that might actually work

    I picked up a surge tank from jegs

    Since the motor is higher than the frame I had to mount the surge tank higher than the motor water outlet to ensure the motor always had water

    and i welded a drain cock to the top of the radiator so i can bleed out the air and also put a vent on the highest point of the engine to bleed air from it and return it to the surge tank
