Went for a nice fall drive the other day. Not going to see the pavement much over the next few months as this car wont be seeing any salt.

Went for a cruise on labor day, took some country back roads it was too beautiful a day not to. Car is running great. Considering some 276 cams, HD springs and a re-flash of my GIAC chip this winter.

More non potato photos from vagfair.

You can see where I should touch the paint up in a few places, I guess that's okay given the car being 25 years old. Also, I am really contemplating a windshield wiper delete or a mono wiper.

Reps 15x8 ... as these are just get me over wheels while I try and track down some BBS RMs or Schmidts. They were dirt cheap.

Here are a few actual non potato pictures from a buddy of mine; cars and coffee and vagfair the next day. It wasn't washed for cars and coffee.

Sourced a custom intake in the classifieds, it is sand blasted and will get painted textured black. Thanks whoever it was on here that sold it super quality item.

Here is a picture of it chromed on his car. It's a unique shape coming off of the VR throttle body, I like it.

Picked up a custom CAI inlet pipe off of a vortexer, will most likely paint it wrinkle black. I'll post pictures when it is done.

In the meantime here is a shot from vagfair...

Car has been driving really well. I have started to position my longer term strategy for the car a little better now that the absolute necessities are taken care of. Quick aside, found out I have poly control arm bushing when I replaced my axle last weekend, which is a nice little plus.

    Short-term
-Install the motor mounts/ trans mount
    -Trans fluid flush
    -Rear spacers

    Medium-Term
    -Custom hot air intake lolz
    -Euro Clone intake manifold
-Tuck/Delete some of the superfluous stuff in the bay
-New front clip either westy grill or single round grill with the badge (golf style)

    Long-term (Winter and beyond)
-Recover the Recaros with some sort of suede and vinyl combination
-Half cage (textured black or gloss red)
-Build some wheels either TH Lines or BBS RMs
-Rear seat delete with storage. Rear seats are already out I want to build a flat delete floor that will also allow for storage of a low-pro jack and roadside tools.
    -Turbo
-Respray either go with the same red or go full retard with Oak green a euro only green offered on Mk2s

VAG Fair was a blast this weekend saw some unreal cars up in York, PA. If you haven't been and are a VAG enthusiast it is worth the trip.

Potato picture from VAG Fair all cleaned up in the A2 "mild" class
