Spent yesterday polishing/cleaning the wheels after they got wrecked at H2oi last weekend. Planning on going to Staggered this weekend.
Also, I just found out today that I got accepted for First Class Fitment! I'm very honored that I am one of the few that got selected for this show in an ocean of impressive builds and can't wait to go.
Went to H2Oi last weekend despite the terrible weather and had a pretty good time. Definitely spent a some time cleaning up the wheels a few times because the lips were getting nasty b/c of the rain and the faces were coated with brake dust (like usual) :
The show season is starting to wind down and I'm trying to decide what I'm going to work on next. I'm thinking something that could act as a fog light since our cars didn't come with them?
Here are some of the only photos I took of my car the whole weekend:
Dropped the R off at the shop yesterday. The bumper and hood are going to paint to get some things taken care of before H2Oi, and I'm getting the notch, air suspension digital gauge, and subframe bushings put in.
Here's a shot from this summer when my girlfriend and I visited Acadia National Park for a weekend:
It's going to the shop next week for the following:
- Passenger Side Frame Notch
- TyrolSport Sub Frame Bushings (Front/Rear)
- ZAETECH Pressure DigiGauge
- Front Bumper License Plate Holes Filled
- Painted Side Markers
- New Painted Tow Hook Cover
- Fix Hood Clear Coat
I started to get some front sub-frame clunk so I figured it was just time to get both the front and rear done and not have to worry about it anymore.
I never knew there was some VW purist. Your car is looking fresh! It's great. That ST is dope too. It's awesome what a drop and some wheels can do to a car.
