It's been a long time since I've had anything to update but I finally got around to ordering some parts I've been putting off for a long time. Most of them are still in the mail, but yesterday I got my steering wheel to replace my cracking M3 wheel with a bad slip ring

I wrapped my door card inserts today. I'll put them on my spare door panels tomorrow and get them in the car sometime this weekend. I'm pretty happy with them for my first time. The creases seem to be more noticeable in the picture than in real life.

I've had those ugly wheels on my car for almost six months now while I refinish the style 5s again. The front of the car sits almost an inch higher since I replaced the worn out upper strut mounts. In the next week or so it'll be back on the style 5s and lowered back down as long as my coils aren't seized.

The wheels didn't look that bad in that picture but the brake dust is permanently stuck on them so they look terrible now. Having the car sit so high and the dirty wheels on it is making me lose interest but hopefully once the style 5s are back on I'll be back to enjoying this car

Here's one bad picture of the refinished style 5s. It's also just a little lower than it was and it rubs a little now so I messed up some paint on my fender.

It's been raining here but it's sunny today so hopefully I'll go out and wash it and get some pics.

I've been basically off social media or anything since sowo. I had a lot of stuff going on so once I got the car finished up for sowo, I kinda lost interest in the car stuff and wasn't feeling very passionate about it any more. Things are getting better and I've got a new job so I'm back to making poor financial decisions and wasting money on this car. It's not nearly full time since I have to take a class over the summer to graduate on time now and it's a studio class meaning a ton of work but it's something.

Since the last update I got the caps on the day before sowo. I didn't really get many pictures of my car but here's a couple my friend took during the show weekend





Then during the show I borrowed my girlfriend's old canon rebel since she just upgraded and she gave me a crash course on photography and I spent the weekend trying it for myself for the first time since all I've ever used is my phone. I'm not that good yet but I fell in love with it and want to get a DSLR at some point

Also I got to shoot John's M3 which is my all time favorite e36. He's got a thread on here too

I thought refinishing the style 5s would make me love them again but I'm still bored with the look and picked up some wheels from a friend. They're already bored out for an e36 but they're pretty rough so hopefully I'll have the motivation to finish them up in the coming weeks and get them on the car. I was getting started today until my light burnt out in my room and my desk lamp wasn't cutting it so I've gotta take a break for now and got one shitty pic. And the car is broken right now so I can't go out and get a bulb. Hopefully I'll get that sorted out tomorrow though
