    i really love this man
the attention to detail and everything is perfect !!

Thank you man, I really appreciate the comment.

The details bit is something I love doing. I feel the small things usually lead to a better car and overall doing the details now prevents further issues down the road and knocks out unwanted costs later with the car, and leads to better looking car. If it's going to be done, just spend the extra $$ now and do it right. Just trying to make sure all the modifications and maintenance repairs balance out.

As for the engine, I do have plans but nothing extreme like a BT build. I was originally going to do a BT, but honestly I want the car to last me a good bit and I want to drive the car to shows even the nice out of state shows. So that lead me down to looking for the best way to get the most out of the engine whilst still having OEM drivability and reliability but OEM+ feel of power.

So I've decided the next thing, when paint and body work is finished, is to invest into a Frankenturbo F21 setup. I'll run a racewerks FM (all black pipping to look oem), already have my exhaust and test pipe and keep the OEM air box as it's the best solution for these cars. I've already added a simple drop in filter which has been proven to be the best solution for the b6/b7 a4's. Then a nice simple tune, larger injectors and upgraded fuel pump. I want a simple and reliable 280-300 awhp. If eventually I need to do piston rings (car has 145k miles) then I'd look into upgrading the internals just a bit. But for the most part, every BT setup I see, drives great for a bit, then something happens and money is always needed to maintain it and keep it running properly when something breaks. Everyone running a Frankenturbo setup, has been running them for thousands of miles, daily, without issue. Exactly what I want and still puts a smile on the face.

So today I'm going to instal these nice b6 3.0 a4 power fold/self dimming mirrors and S4 self dimming rear view mirror.

Also here's a pic of the cancer eating away at the metal fenders. This is the passenger side but both sides have been effected by the up north winters. So I have brand new OEM audi fenders (both sides) and a whole S4 front conversion, with the euro S4 black edition grills, ready to go to change up the appearance a bit.

Your build has me really wish I would have bought my friends b6 avant, but starting body cancer stopped me and good thing since it was the same color as yours and I would have ***** it now lol.

Haha should of done it man. Wagons look great slammed, have tons of room for daily use, and it's awd. Plus this grey, atlas grey was an avant only color choice, so it's a little more rare. Yeah the rust is costing me more in this build then I'd like, but the cars now in Florida, so once it's gone and fixed, there shouldn't be any more issues.

I wanted it bad, but kind of ended up with a better deal with a b6 sedan with some usp parts. Just hard for me to give him what he wanted when I knew what he paid. Someday ill make a build thread for it. Very curious of the F21 setup as thats something on my list as well since I just did a full exhaust. My car came with a weird AFE intake which I ****, which has me thinking about getting a new intake, or just putting that towards getting the turbo setup.

I say really look into the F21. It all depends on what you want and how much power you're looking for. But it's a great system. As for the AFE intake, I'd say remove it and put the stock box back in with a drop in filter. It's the best working system. Won't give you that "woosh" turbo noise, but it's the most effective and efficient.

So I knocked out the power mirrors. Love them. Always wanted some for parking in the garage and because it's a little modern touch.
Fuck was it a bitch thought. When I tried to remove the old mirror caps to switch to the S4 ones, one of the screws on the power fold units snapped. So I spent 30 minutes blow torching and using vice grips to pull the fucker out. But it was worth it.

A little video of the finished thing:

                Thanks man.

So some more parts arrived from audi to finish the S4 front bumper. Headlight washer covers and the tow hook

So today I got started on a few things.
                  1) the loose brake shield that was rattling when I aired out.
                  2) trimming the roll plate around the rear airlift performance bag.

The outer lip of the roll plate would hit and run against the axel when you would air up. So I decided to knock this out tonight (or at least get 90% of it done)

Here you can see where the lip and axel are hitting.

So I got to work with my Dremel and very very carefully started to cut away parts of the plate.

Once I got most of the rough cut metal away, I took to filing down the edges to smooth it out and prevent any sharp edges from becoming in contact with the bag when fully deflated.

Here you see the finished piece and the added clearance this has given me. Hopefully this should do the trick and get rid of that annoying noise when rising.

Then to make it 100%, I found this great plasti dip liquid rubber coating that dries and hardens. I'm going to paint all the cut edges with a few layers and let settle to give it that extra layer of protection and piece of mind on my end. Should do that tomorrow, but right now I'm running late for booze mini golf so I will update again tomorrow with the finished thing and run a test and hopefully (cross fingers) it's golden.

WOW! this build is so tastefully done, I love the attention to detail. I bought a b6 from toronto once, had the exact same rust as yours does and every under-carriage component was corroded....not fun.

I also think a USP rear valance would look killer, but keep up the great work!

Thanks man. I have thought of doing that rear bumper but the Euro GMBH TDI sport version. Which is basically the exact same thing but without the exhaust cut outs. So I would run turn down tips. I'd also mold it to be one piece, like the s4 rear. But it's near impossible to find. I nearly had a guy in the UK ready to go, but he fell through and I never heard from him again. So may stick to the S4.

Nice to see more B6s here.
Stick with the S4, looks alot better imo.

Heres my A4 1.8TQ with S4 bumpers. Sorry for the awful snapchat quality.
                              Following this for sure!

Looks good man. Yeah I like the s4 rear and the whole "1 piece" look but I love the fact the euro rear is a little more rare and no one here is running it. Just more work. Need the US ultrasport top bumper and ultrasport crash bar. S4 is a direct swap. Plus then I need to get turn down tips made.

We will see. My patience is running thin on finding one
