    • So, my little N2MB WOT box arrived over the past week and I'm finally going to head out and install it while I'm here in Adelaide. Hopefully, when I get the exhaust all sorted, the car will shoot flames.

Most people know what a WOT box is, but for those that don't. It allows 2-Step Launch Control and No-Lift Shifting (WOT Shifting). The installation itself seems simple enough, splice into ignition harness, fuel injector number four, clutch and accelerator sensors. Wire tapping seems to the way to go with the clutch and accelerator sensors.

Just going to make a trip to the closest automotive store and buy the necessary wire taps. Then I'll get into it.

Got the wires pushed through into the engine bay. Need to splice into the ignition, fuel injector and throttle body sensor. But seem to have a vac leak, so have to figure out how to find that.

I completely agree. Just waiting for the barrel to be sorted, then I'll do it.

Aha yeah, rear of the car definitely looks like it is floating, I miss the RS' hard though.

                • Due to the Christmas season, I haven't got anymore done on the WOT box installation. Will have to wait till I get back to Ballarat.

Speaking of which, the vac leak seems to be fine, it had a few issues idling but now she's absolutely fine, unsure what happened there... I've driven about 200km's and she seems to be fine.

                  Back to Ballarat today/tonight.
Leaving around 16:00 so I can get into Ballarat around 22:00, will give me enough time to get to the gym tonight.

                  • Ordered some Broadway Static super lows for the front of Lucy.
Heard from Craig at Whitehorse Industries the other day, barrel for the front is being made up, so hopefully get that sorted and the wheels back on shortly with the new struts etc.

Parents have purchased a house in Ballarat where there is a garage that I am able to utilise. Looks like Lucy is about to get some more work done to her.

When it comes to the new struts, am going to have to double notch and raise the engine. Have also been considering pulling the pin and finally getting the IDF camber plates for the rear. Should probably just do it, but will mean I'll get new rear hubs etc at the same time.

                    • Did a pick up from the city last night.

Now have the Bride's back and ready to be installed, as well as the adapters and Audi wheels. Hopefully swap the wheels over this weekend and maybe look into getting the seats installed too. I want to take some time and make sure the front suspension is all good before swapping to the Broadway's, so might just pull it apart and re-install with loctite in the right spaces.

Hopefully have some photos to update here with, sorry about all the blocks of text as of late!

                      • Okay, got the Audi Q5 wheels back on. Makes me that much happier.

Due to stiffness, it makes changing the wheels around easy. Can do front and rear by just jacking up the front.

So got her back down last night and grabbed some proper photos this morning in the light. I really should get my camera out and take some nicer ones, but she is filthy and the wheels are beyond filthy.

Hanging for next pay day now, so I can order me some IDF camber plates for the rear and then dial in the fitmünt perfectly. Then when the Broadway coils come, can dial in front to match.

                        • I decided it was time to get out tonight with my real camera. So some non-potato photos.

Can't wait to shave a hatch. I might go and find another one and shave that, or just shave this one. Unsure just yet.

Seriously can't wait for the Broadway's to come and get the front down more. Once they arrive, I wanna get the bent tie rods installed that I have from IDF as well as do the engine raise and double notch. Hopefully in the next two months.

After seeing the next couple of photos, I really need to sort out colour coding the rear valance. Does my head in.

Same goes for the front valance. Not sure if I should go 20th Anniversary front valance or just colour match this one. I really need some GLI side skirts though.

Car hasn't been washed for ages and the Audi wheels truly are filthy. Might spend some time during the week and take her for a bath.

                              • So, contacted filtersweeper on here in regards to getting some -5 camber plates made up for the rear.
His build thread is going to be wild, go and do a search for his username and suss it.

Anyway, gonna play the waiting game for a bit now. Basically have everything sorted once I get the camber plates. Will still need to order rear hub assemblies (fuck trying to save the bearing) before installing the plates, but that shouldn't be too hard.

Hoping to move into the new garage by the end of the month. Once I'm in there, car will be up on axle stands and I'll commence cleaning her up completely. Have a bit of a list of things I want to do before she goes back down on the ground and before I head to 'Murica!
