      • I'm gonna upload the high quality versions tonight, I am not happy with how they came out once uploaded to Flickr.

But yeah, definitely enjoying her at the moment. No more money being spent unless something breaks. It's been good rolling like this though, having a tonne of fun. Just hope I can steer clear of the 5-0 long enough to enjoy this setup daily for a bit.

          • Yup, but now I want to remove all those photos and get new ones where the seats are even.

              • As do I, I was pretty happy when I picked the RS' up from getting wrapped in tyres.

                18x9 and 18x10.5 wrapped in 215/40 and 225/40 respectively.

                • Really liked it with the 348 wheels. It was something different.

                    Fuck people that cant drive
Almost had the same thing happen to my E36 at a parking lot last Friday, I was waiting for someone to reverse out of their spot and I notice the reverse lights on this fucking Transit turns on and out of nothing he just starts reversing out of his spot.

Fortunately there was no one behind me so I could back up a bit but it wasn't enough so I had to lay my self on the horn which took a good couple of seconds as I didnt realise that I can't just press the center of the wheel like in most cars but I actually had to press on the sides with the horn icon and there must have been less than an inch between his rear end and my right front wing when I finally got it of.

What is it that people find so difficult about using their rear view mirrors?

As did I, but they didn't fit exactly how I wanted them too so I was a little annoyed with them, life goes on!

                          • Just been cruising like this, nothing really to report.

I've been looking at other projects that I actually want to do. My heart still longs for my beetle build, but at the moment I just don't have the space or money.

I'm tempted to put the Golf back to stock wheels, raise her back to an appropriate height and just cruise her around. Starting back at Sportsbet start of the year and shit has been doing my head in lately.

I'm absolutely ****** where I am living currently and it is making day to day life difficult. Maybe I just need a fucking holiday.

                              • Is it tomorrow yet?
Alright, time for that rant that I promised.

So this time last week, the (now ex) girlfriend and I called it quits.
She shortly moved out the day after, was interesting.

So over the past week I've been planning moving. It looks like I am going to my parents place in Ballarat and will be commuting into the city for work. The fucked up thing is that it'll take me less time to get into work while living 114km away from the CBD, when I currently live 18km.

So, now that that is all out, what does that mean for Lucy?
Basically I had to agree to some terms when moving back in with the parents, one being the car had to be stock. Now, everyone knows that this is impossible to do as a car guy/girl. But, I've raised her to a stock-ish height (about 5cm all round) and am back on the stock 16" wheels.

The interior is getting ripped out this weekend and going back to the stock cloth setup. The Bride seats will be going into storage, along with the RS' and the rest of my furniture etc. Hopefully organising the storage container this weekend to come next week some time.

Anyway, it's pretty fucked up, but I am okay with it all. The thing that kills me the most is how sunk the stock wheels are. But, it is what it is and I have to conform for a bit. The plan is to live in Ballarat for a minimum of six months while saving as hard as possible. Then finding a place in the city again, along with potentially getting a warehouse for car hangs.

The question really is, what's next for Lucy?
To be honest, I don't know. I don't want to spend anymore money on her besides the general maintenance side of things. Maybe I'll clean up the stock interior, do the headliner, make it as comfortable as I can for a daily driver on stiff as fuck suspension. I guess I could always get a tune and have a bit of fun engine wise, but I'm hardly going to be driving her so not sure what the point is.

                                Life goes on.
