The K sits above the sub frame actually. Knock on wood, I was destroying my sub frame, literally lifting the front end up on frost heaves and the pan was fine. Don't let the super small 02-04 RSX side skirts fool you, the hatch had 1.5" ground clearance, this has... Let me measure my key here.. a little over a 1/4" of sub frame clearance on flat ground.. We'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say 3/8".

Doing a lot of painting, have bets the car won't make it to school Monday.. We'll see about that.

Right I forgot about the different engine sizes lol. My brother had a K swapped civic, he cracked like 3 oil pans in a week.

Also get Type S skirts. im pretty sure they sit lower and the stock ones.

They are Type S skirts, it's just that it's an 02-04 not 05-06 that they're the weksos ones. I actually like these, my driveway is notorious for ripping side skirts off so I'm going to just roll with it for now.

          Ah thats understandable.

Even with the small sideskirts you're still lower than like 80% of all hondas/acuras

Car is going together for the most part tomorrow. First day off from waking up at 6:30 for either school or work in a month, I'm pumped.

I like that front tag. For obvious reasons...

looks awesome man! as you have discovered, the frame does sit super low. getting stuck is way easier to do than the older chassis. lol.

i'd get it aligned asap cause the front suspension screws up toe greatly when you get that low. don't let them tires go to waste

Yeah, it's going for an alignment quite soon, this week in fact.

I've driven it over 100 miles so far and I love it! My front springs are WAY too soft and my front struts are bottoming out on harsh bumps, but otherwise it's been happy fun scraping all the way. Ordered 600lb 4" Hypercoil front springs for it for my upcoming trip to Boston for a meet; so I can actually use that remaining suspension travel.

I do plan on going lower, as the front raised a little (not much..) when I put 40 psi in all the tires to prevent debeading.

Updates as stuff happens, pics soon.

Fine, I left the bump stops in so it just rides on those. I'm fully gutted so it's not like I have passengers to entertain or anything. Zero complaints about the rear.

Should be back wrenching again tomorrow. I do plan on going lower all around hehehe.. This is far too drive-able for me..

I have developed quite the exhaust leak though.
