Hot damn! You inspired me to pick up a set of Rota Grids myself picked 'em up yesterday.
Your car looks so extremely good with those rims. And what's your secret of pulling fenders without ruining them?

    So, proper update then

    Received some boxes

    Familiar content inside

    Then this

two sets of 5mm spacers to make room for calipers, and the shock absorber. Or so I thought.

Used some P zero's 225.40.18 from my Golf

Then, it was time to test fit the wheels onto the car

First I used one 5mm spacer, no bueno. Thought of combining two spacers, still, no bueno. The clearance we wanted, came in three of them in a row, thus meaning I needed a 15mm spacer. The wheel was already very wide to begin with, and I already knew fenders would have to be pulled.

    Made some custom spacers then

    Amazing quality and fitment

    It was very tight

At the back it was much better

Then fenders were pulled, no cracks on the car colour with the fender roller, and things got much better. Here is how it looked afterwards

Went out for a proper ride, but rubbing was huge on the front on the arches, so I knew 225.40.18 would not work

So, sadly I knew what I had to do. Order some 215.35.18 rubber, and go from there. So I did, and lowered the car some more.

    215 on a 9,5

    Cheers more to come

    Mike
