So, ordered some 3000K d3S lamps to replace my OEM 4300K lamps on my Bi-Xenons

    Again removed headlights

    Lamps side by side

    Oem one

    3000K one

Put everything back together, and it came out like this

I loved it but there was a problem

    Can you see it?

    Look closer

That DRL led strip line should not be white, it spoils the fun

Took some while to figure it out, zero DIY threads on this, so i figured it out on my own, last night

Now everything matches and I am very happy.

What is more, my winter tires came and I am happy they came just in time

    Installed on my winter wheels

    Cheers

    More to come

Remember my OEM wheels, the 17' ones, that I bought the car with

I thought, instead of selling them, using them, for winter season with winter tires on them

So, went ahead and powdercoated them

Machined them to fit my spacers

    Installed them

The summer wheels were sent for gloss black powdercoating as well

This is how it came out with the winter setup

    Cheers more to come

Winter tires are ordered and still pending

    Cheers

    Happy New Year

    Thank you very much
It is true, that engine without that cover looks awful
And trust me, I am the guy that removes plastic engine covers on the first week of ownership, LoL

Wow, without that engine cover it all looks over complicated and unimpressive. Love the way the car looks, but that bay is soooo cramped.

The attention to detail is awesome, love the diamond stitch and the new wheel. Really makes me wish Audi would sell these over here.

    Thank you sir

Went to vcds, and set driver airbag, off, so no codes there.
Have been using that technique for years now

    Cheers

What did you do with the airbag light in the dashboard after changing the steeringwheel?

    Awesome little car there!

    Got to work

    Went two time over it

    Dried everything

Then sealed it with Meg's M40

    Nice

    Chose some good music

And then gave the Defi some power

Some nice peak from factory, hehe

    Hit play

I really like how your new interior trim turned out, the red diamond stitching looks amazing!

You said you might sell your stock steering wheel, how much would you want for it?

So, some more news to show you

    Garage time

I had to connect the vacuum (actually boost line on a TDi engine) to the Defi sensor

    Right here

Lifted the car to go under it

Meanwhile this had arrived from UK

Got under the car and found some VW badges - LoL

    Map sensor located

Couldnt be be located in a worse place with that AC line in front of it

    Removed

Installed the line on the map spacer

And after some [ a damn lot ] time, I managed to put and torque everything in place

    Connected

    Nothing visible

    That's out of the way

    Noted

    More to come

    Stay tuned

    And some more updates

Painted the rear hubs while i was rotating tires

    And received this

    Boy, is it awesome

Also bought some oem wiring for the horn

    Ready to say goodbye

    Started removing

    Airbag off

    Off it goes

    Wiring the horn buttons

    Installed the hub

    Sparco on

This is how much offset it had

Added a sparco spacer I had from the blue audi

    And came out like this

    This might go for sale

A spare trim part that i broke at the rear door card removal

    Some spare door card clips

And finally how it currently looks

    Cheers
