Was actually waiting for you to go back to a OEM steering wheel. S-line wheel looks killer. Well done, sir

So, in other news , I also decided to install the Sparco steering wheel on the golf instead of the A1, and so I went back to the OEM one for some days

Also installed a white led on the Start/Stop button instead of the yellow one

Yes, two tone colour, not three

But as you would propably have guessed, i did not install the oem steering wheel to stay with it for long - so yes I ordered another one

Audi TTS (8S) new steering wheel

    Test fitted

Now need to figure how to make the buttons work.

    Cheers

    More to come

So let me update this thread a bit.

Last month, I put some serious miles on this car, I had a big roadtrip from Greece, to Romania, via FYROM, and Bulgaria. I put about 3500km to the car, and it cost me about 150euros of diesel premium fuel. Yeap that's correct. And that was with car heavily loaded, with the Thule box on it at all times.

Before I started the trip, I purchased an emergency spare wheel, from a golf mkiv R32 i believe as stated at the listing.

All it needed was a bit of love

    Clean

    Added a cap

Nice chance to use this as well to dress the tire

Wheel fits perfectly after i remove the air compressor that came with car, over the battery

    Like this

There is also a tray that goes above the spare wheel and under the trunk lifted floor but I am not sure yet, I have the correct part number for it - if anyone can help, by all means.

Car's condition after the return trip home

    Fresh diesel on paint work

We lifted the car and washed all the underbody to remove mud, salt and grime

    Winter wheels removed

    Time for summer wheels

They look so much better in gloss black

Car hadnt settled on height just yet

    Cheers more to come

So, summer wheels prepping is almost done now

Then Darth came in and car was approved

Gave it a quick was under the chassis to loose all salt and mud although more will be coming very soon

Took some decisions for my A4/RS4 project and decided to reduce spending on other cars.

    Till then though . . . .

Fabricated this oil sump bolt to receive the oil temp sensor, to be installed on the next oil change

    And also . . .

    Removed interior parts

    Ready for trim shop

    And done

    Let's install this

    I love it

    Cheers

Started off seeing things like pedals, ashtray and tinting film and thought hmm.. ok..

It all came together really nicely though. Never been a fan of the Rotas tbh but each to their own, the rest of the car has been really well done. The retrim looks beautiful, well played!

My summer wheels were received freshly powdercoated

    Took them for a spin

Then I made something to mount them on without touching each other, because otherwise they would be damaged due to the stretched fitment.

Received a new mount from OSIR

    for my second Defi gauge

    combined

    In situ

    I also bought this

But unsure if i can make it work on my car, we have different equipment installed - this one does not have bt installed etc etc

Washed it after my snow trip

    More to come cheers
