Damn that looks like quite the project.

If this is anywhere near as cool as your mercedes build I will come to your shop and give you a high five.

Got around to taking the pile of stuff off of the car and assessing the frame some more. One side is completely intact and solid and the other side is almost totally gone. I jacked up the car from various points to try leveling everything out and my welder came over to start planning the fab work.

I know these cars are valuable. But goddddd damnnnnn.

Also That steering wheel is fucking insane! Are you going to refurbish it and get the ignition advance, speed load and the fuel mixture lever working again? That really is the sickest fucking steering wheel in existence! Probably worth more then my car

I've definitely been thinking about the V12 idea.

Also here's a couple more shots. The original UK plate and probably my favorite steering wheel of all time.

This. unless a v12... The bmw v12 idea is solid.

Does maserati or alfa make any neat motors? Jag v12?

Please put a 6BT in this thing! I want to see this thing belching black smoke and roasting tires.

Fuck the concerns about weight - you're building a rat rod out of a Rolls, you can figure it out!

So last minute I took the trek up to Upstate NY to pick up my lady. Left at 3am and got hit with some snow but I got it loaded and on my way back to CT.
