Just awaiting delivery of the new wheels, in the meantime..
New wipers, no aesthetic difference but they work 10x better.
Rack off too!

Rack back on, and I repainted my wheels so they're shiny now. Good stuff. I'll be building a new rack in spring/summer since I want one that sits closer to the roof and is a bit slimmer. Yes the lighting on my driveway is pure shite..

Oh also the banded steels may be going on the Civic Wagon that's here, currently slammed and looking pretty awesome alongside the 5

Tried 'em on, looking good

Will give the front springs a chop in half and lower the rear torsion bar more to slam it on it's arse, I'd love to see one of these on air ride but they can go really low really easily when static

my friend has a 5 for his first car, handed down by his brother. the interiors are so funky haha.
i actually think theyre a pretty cool looking car. back when i first got into car i remember there being a guy from down south with a stupid low one of these on ATS classics, cant remember his name though. if i remember ill post.

I loved that one, it's probably the coolest base-model Renault 5 there's ever been, the guy who bought it (who also owned it when that picture was taken) ruined it and ended up scrapping it, sad.
Anyway, since coilovers for these are £400 (which I don't have) I'll set about chopping the front springs soon, which leaves 3-4 coils in the springs and will make it sit at a similar height to the one above. 5's are awkward to camber on the rear so I'll leave that until the end probably
