Repainted wheels again, same matte black jobby but I might try some gloss on them eventually.



Next thing will be to tidy the bay up a little, first thing to do will be a little air filter to replace the big unsightly airbox that it currently has.

Ok so for a little more clearance on the rear arches I things needed to be cut..

So, take this



Then take off the rear plastic and cut out excess metal, to be left with this



And then revel at the fact that a set of 9j rears fit nicely on one of these. All needs now is the plastic back on.

In 2015 I'll be lowering it more, can take 3-4 coils out the front springs and then lower the torsion bar more.

Thanks yeah, they can be like £50 each here. Mine are a little too wide haha, I could do with some 7.0 and 7.5's ideally. I'm still on the lookout for some different wheels

Took it for a play in the snow today after the past few weeks of cutting the arches to bits, the wheels have clearance finally.

Trim cracked a little on one side, it's holding together for now, far from ideal but it'll do until I find a new piece to replace it.
No real reason but pictures anyway



In the picture below you can see the damage to it, the area that's damaged is the bit that holds it on at the back below the petrol cap x_x



Gave it a much needed clean when I got home too.



Then rinsed etc before being parked up and left to dry with all the others. I would have done them all but it's below 0 outside so I just did the 5.



Green Escort should be having its MoT tomorrow, fingers crossed it'll make it there!
