It's finally starting to come along. Been focusing on prep work the past few days before welding begins. Then things should start moving really fast.

Finally picked up a nice hammer drill and went to town with a wire wheels and all the tight spots around the car.

Things are starting to move a little quicker. Finished prepping the door jambs, and got most of it plated. I've been putting a coat of clear over all of it too. Going to try to get a satin finish out of it once it dries.

My buddy is going to be helping out with all the welding this month (shaved bay, rusty spots, floors, shaved markers, and a few bonuses yet to be told) I'm really getting anxious to start seeing it all take shape in these coming weeks.

Make sure you document the bay's progress! Nothing like looking back and seeing a "flipbook" of how it once was....haha.

Also are you still following the theme of copper exterior/ clean painted bay? I really think a black (or some variation of dark(er) color) would really set the car off. Of course with some copper accents on the engine itself. Can't wait to see what you have in store for her man.
