It's finally starting to come along. Been focusing on prep work the past few days before welding begins. Then things should start moving really fast.

Copper and motorcycles just work so well togetherOriginally posted by Capt. Obvious View PostVery cool project. I need to learn more about this plating process you're doing, would be a really cool way to finish off a vintage motorcycle I hope to build soon.

My buddy is going to be helping out with all the welding this month (shaved bay, rusty spots, floors, shaved markers, and a few bonuses yet to be told) I'm really getting anxious to start seeing it all take shape in these coming weeks.Originally posted by mikey G View PostGetting there!

Make sure you document the bay's progress! Nothing like looking back and seeing a "flipbook" of how it once was....haha.Originally posted by dineno View PostMy buddy is going to be helping out with all the welding this month (shaved bay, rusty spots, floors, shaved markers, and a few bonuses yet to be told) I'm really getting anxious to start seeing it all take shape in these coming weeks.
Also are you still following the theme of copper exterior/ clean painted bay? I really think a black (or some variation of dark(er) color) would really set the car off. Of course with some copper accents on the engine itself.
Can't wait to see what you have in store for her man.

this, along with your other RR project is so so so so killer!
It brings back my all of my old love for good old fashioned unique build threads by real car guys such as yourself.
It goes without saying I wish you best of luck with everything and am keeping close following on all your amazing progress
