That's the direction my idea has been heading. If I'm going to do a shaved bay, the patina copper bay I think might throw it off.

I want to, I just **** to only mildly change something that already been done. I think the aviation style will still be maintained to an extent though considering the steel will still have that brushed look, lots of rivets, and the bomber interior.

Dude your build so far is inspiring. Just the fact that you're still moving forward after seeing the condition of those floors makes me second guess giving up on my e28! Keep up the good work, in 1000% subscribed to this thread!!!!!!

I never let some rust get to me, just some welding and primer and it's as good as new

It won't be polished copper, more of a slightly brushed patina copper. I plan to let it dull and oxidize brownish then sea it before it turns green

I wore I wouldn't work on the car until after the start of the New Year, but the itch took hold. Dropped the subframe real quick today. These bushings have seen better days thats for sure. I'll drop the rear next and then soda blast the remainder of the chassis, fix the rust, and primer all the hidden portions before putting the car back together.
