Sorry but I think those wheels just don't go with the flow the the body's design. It's just two different worlds that don't match.

Actually, I don't disagree but I just think sometimes 2 different flows together just reveal one another. In real life, it's not as obvious as in the pictures. Thanks for the feedback man!

Thanks. Yep but just because it was changed and had a very large fender lip. It wasn't rolled like a stock fender. If that is the question, on a stock 1ers the wheels fit with no fender modification, no rub

It's just a pity that the axles on these cars are so wide, so the lips are so small... would look so perfect with some huge dish!

the vwdays are like 20 minutes away from my home. I just go there every year with my golf rallye. I saw your car at the last vwdays, very nice. but I came with the 135 and people at the entrance became crazy because of the 135i being a BMW. Those little men just told me that it was a VW show. They were so angry against me that I just left the show lol.

Weird, I went there last year with my E36 and even was escorted by one of the organizers all over the show grounds to the show n shine area. There also quite a few other BMWs in attendance, 3 E21s and a E28 IIRC.

I could actually go wider but as a daily I didn't want any rub and be able to drive the car like crazy without any problem.

Yeah, if you're from a foreign country they let you go in since they want more people every year from Europe but if you're french then it becomes a problem which is quite stupid in my opinion. Maybe I'll put a german plate next year lol
