I decided to get a roll cage for the 135 but the ones I found were not in my budget. Plus, I want to keep the back seats. So, I decided to build my own. I defined the diameter I wanted which is 42.4mm. Then I found this:
and made this:
Welding is not my thing at allbut it went ok
I wanted to be able to remove it in 5 minutes if needed so I made it bolt on. The front is fixed onto the belt support and the rear is in the Isofix system.
Checking if everything's OK.
Made a photoshop to define the color. I went Orange Fire from the BMW GTS to fit the 1M trims I have.

Not into the cage personally, regardless of the safety issues you kept a back seat that is rendered completely useless now because of the cage. Just my .02. Gut the car and build a real cage or keep it in it's OEM+ stage and it's perfect. Again, just my .02! Love the fitmentInstagram : @SHMVNY_GVNG
