Well played catch up today. Sanded down the doors to the original paint job. It's had about 3 paint jobs before. Sprayed some Limco 800k primer. Panels are even more straight now. Now onto sanding down the other panels, prime, and sanding them down with 400 grit paint stick.

Not much getting done. Had to sand down the whole body down due to the primer cracking. I upgraded on primer while I was at it. What's been reprimed and sanded are all four doors and the hatch. Rest of the body should be primed next week.

Bought a new bumper and service manual.


Also, I traded my mighty max for a 87 civic wagon RT4WD. Pretty rare car.

This past month has been non productive. But I did get to prime the shell today. I'm kinda happy that the primer split. My panels look and feel a straighter. Anyways, just like most of you, there's money coming around the corner. Time for car parts!

I absolutely love these cars! Keen to see what you do with it! Also seriously jealous of the bodywork skills you have, I'm a little blown away by how much time and effort you've put into making it a straight and clean shell.

Thanks guys! I want it as straight as possible so there are no regrets. I didn't think I would put this much work into my first car but I have no problem with it.

Started working on the door jambs. This color is awesome! I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Thanks man! I got the rest of the door jambs done and painted radiator tie bar, mirrors, and hood hinges. All that is left to paint is prep the fenders for paint, sand down some overspray here and there and mask off everything that doesn't need to be shot.
