It was supposed to be painted today but my instructors forgot to order the LR13 reducer and RM 5335 glamour clear. Here it is blown and cleaned with RM 909 solution. It's going to painted for sure tomorrow.

Here's a photoshop my little brother made of a wagon my color with the honda fit wheels it has now. Only difference is my color is going to be a bit darker sense it's new. Going to rock the fit wheels until I can get new wheels. Opinions?

I'm very satisfied with the results. It was my first time painting a whole car and I had two little runs but other than that it looks great. I ended up doing 2 blue ground coats, 2 dark metallic blue coats (B37M), and 3 clear coats. These are the only pics I got so far.

I took some shots of the wagon outside. It was kinda gloomy outside today. Couldn't receive that good sunlight.

That metallic though.

So instead of buffing the car, my instructors gave me the option of sanding the whole car down with 1000 grit and re-clearing it. I **** buffing honestly. You run into the danger of burning through the edges, your taking away clear and it's more maintenance. No bueno. Doing it this way will take just as long as cutting and buffing and it will give a showroom finish, a glass like finish.

My brother bought a new camera. All I have to say is wow. This thing makes anyone look like a decent photographer. Snapped pics of my older wagon and some stuff.

Finished sanding the wagon. Now I have to mask off the jambs and windows for clear.

But I would also do what you are doing because more clear is always good to have. Colour looks awesome man!

Thanks guys. I just picked up a Rupes. Going to give it a go soon. It's 95% percent complete. Just need to finish up the two tone on the bumpers and we're ready to go.
