And done some more work on the project Swift mk1:

    Taken apart the carbs

    Ultrasonic cleaned them:

    New gaskets and new filters:

Took apart the SSR rims (factory 3-piece and factory welded) well, not anymore!

    Drilled some extra boltholes:

    Painted the inner lips:

    And painted the centers:

Need to order wider outerlips now

Updates!! Couldn't keep my hands of the daily. Did some maintenance work on the rear strut:

And rolled the arches, put DZ exklusif wheels on it (front 7,5J, rear 9J), and lowered it a bit more (could go lower, but it's still my daily)

The project’s been quiet for a while. I’ve been in a break-up (after 6 years), a lot of time and energy wasted on that sh*t. Now a lot of time, energy en money gets wasted on other girls. I just love being single again hah!
Been collecting some parts to continue the engineswap. It will resume in January, deadline is April.

Nice cars. Question though; why not do a full resto and build up?

You've got a daily and the car is so small, so it takes less effort I guess.

Like the ssr find and engine bay and the plans sounds right!

    YES.
Being a Samurai/Jimny enthusiast, I can't help but have a soft spot for the first gen Swifts.
G13B, I presume? I'd LOVE to get one of those for a tintop Samurai.
    Looking good so far!

Fitted the rims and the front ones will need smaller lips. In the near future I want to go wider, but first I just want them to fit the car without having to customize the sh*t out of the guards and undercarriage.

Got my hands on electric windows for the mk1 Swift, pretty unique!

I've sold the Ally Cat rims and got me a unique JDM set real japanse rims.
    13" SSR Dunlop T-E, 6J 3-piece!

The rims are 3-piece, but welded together. Two lip are damaged and need to be replaced for wider ones, so we're gonna cut the welds.

I had an opportunity to buy BC Racing coilovers for the Estate... so I did!!

Sorry for the crappy phone pics, but I'm very happy with the result!!

Wheelporn updates will follow soon on the mk1 Swift.
