custom is the way to go. I'll be pulling off the passenger side front to see if there was any damage when the car went down. The rears need to be re-evaluated to get lower. I might have to do what Mike (white325) had suggested. Its not nearly low enoughOriginally posted by AccuMike View PostHell yeah man, custom all the way, making it happen!

Heres a bunch of pics from the installation weekend.
Tools and supplies all set to go

A before shot of the trunk. Just in case you've never seen a trunk before

Then I stripped out the interior

Wiring and stuff, ready to go in

I decided to mount all the controllers and stuff on the deck lid. I dont like how wires look and this was the best place to keep them all out of sight

Compressors and tank. Mocking them up and getting them in the car

rear suspension removal and installation.

Rear wheel fitment

Front suspension removal and installation

And a final shot of my oil pan clearance.

Thats what we get for messing with the natural order of things. Everyone knows that E30s are meant to be on a track. WHO ARE WE TO PLAY GOD ON THESE MATTERS?!?! lolOriginally posted by Ben Bagged View Postdave oh dave... first byrons car.. now yours.. e30's just cant handle the lows
But I need to get this at least to a point where I can get it home. Then Im buying another car

I have vertical stretchOriginally posted by Rali@BagRiders View PostDave, really sorry to hear about your fender and all.. If you need anything you know how to get a hold of us.. btw you should look into getting some more stretch
its the newest thing. Luckily I didnt have the Rotiforms on there when it went down. They are still in my shop taking up space. I talked to Will yesterday, hes checking on how much to get that sleeve replaced. Also might be grabbing one of those spindle sets off you guys to have as a back up in case I need to make something temporary in the future

this is how it sits right now. The front was about a half inch lower when it collapsed. I had to manually raise everything up so it was drivable enough to make it back to my work. the rear is aired out, so I need to work on that too. but I wont be touching it probably until friday.

Yea, Ive heard that too. I just kept thinking "almost there, almost there. a few more minutes and itll be all set." I should have called it quits earlier int he night and just dealt with my boss bitching that I was taking up a lift lolOriginally posted by AccuMike View Postdamn man, bummer... they say sleep exhaustion is the same as being wasted? Haha you should of just had a few drinks during the install (same outcome but might have been much more fun) =)
Sorry to hear, but you'll be back up and running in no time! Give me a shout if I can help with anything?
