    Dave, jack it up and stick a piece of 2x4 in between the lower control arm and the frame. that way your not riding on the strut.

    Unfortunately I dont have a good picture. The way I am running it is similar to the OEM insert. I had a sleeve welded onto the spindle, then the strut/bag assembly drops into that.

    Really loving the custom work. Just a curioisty question, when you welded the front struts to the hubs, are the struts welded ontop or they pushed into the hub and then welded secure ensuring correct angle/alignment?

    Today after work I'll be attempting to make the car drivable. Im making a spacer to drop in the strut housing that I made. Hopefully that will raise the front enough where it is high enough to make a 3 mile drive home from where it sits. I'll be riding on struts, no springs, no bags up front. this should be fun. Then I have to take a time out from it and figure out it anything else went wrong lol

    It sucks that I have to leave it alone for a little while. I just dont have the time to get back in it for the next couple weeks. Plus, I need to get my shit together and buy a daily driver. walking 3 miles to work is too much for this fat old bald guy
