I lost Phoebe almost a week ago. I even caught a plane to see if we could resolve it. She has pushed me completely away and wants to be "alone" and find herself.

So, more of my time and money will be focused on Anja now.

Here's my plan of attack for Anja.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the break up that occurred, every time I get in Anja I cringe. If you read the first ever post, you'll understand why. The reasoning behind getting Anja was so that Phoebe and I could share memories in her. Now, that's not so much the case.

What is going to happen is I'll be converting Anja to historic rego here in Melbourne and put her under a car cover for a year or two.

I'll be purchasing a new daily car that will actually be kept daily spec. But will have some oomph which is nice.

I went through the same shit with ODB when my ex and I broke up. I came ridiculously close to trading him for a Datsun 240Z because every time I sat in my car it reminded me of her. Thanks to some good friends and some major reflection, I kept him. Why? Because even though she was a big influence on the build, I bought that car for ME. It's my goddamn project, not hers, and I'll see it through to the end. I hope you do the same with Anja dude. But whatever you do, I wish you the best.

The worst thing is I bought the car for both of us. In my eyes, it was to be our wedding car. So every time I get in her, I'm reminded of the little stuff we did together on her, and the main reason why I bought her.

So I put her up for sale this morning. I'm hoping I can get close to what I'm asking. We will see what happens I guess. Life must go on and I've already picked up my next car which will hopefully see some modifications soon. But for now, I just have to keep her daily spec and keep working my ass off.

Unfortunately, the first and only girl I've ever loved is marrying some other guy, and every time I sat in the driver's seat I'd look across and see her face smiling back at me. I'd remember showing her how to drive standard and falling in love when her cheeks went red when she stalled it.

I couldn't stand it. I loved that car, I loved that woman, and now they're both gone. I think I'm better off for it. The BMW has made me a bunch of friends, and working on her fills that empty hole inside of me. It's not perfect, but its nice.

I love what you've done with the Volkswagen, I can't wait to see what you do next. Keep on trucking', dude.

As much as I **** it, but I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has felt this way. Makes me feel more normal. As much as people say move on and all that shit, she will be my first and only girl I'll love the way I did. I can't see myself with anyone else, it sucks.

Every time I have sat in Anja since that night, I am just reminded of her in every single way. From the wiring we did to the drives we had in her. Everything comes flooding back and I go back too many steps in the healing process.

Once I've gotten rid of her I will be on the mend. I've got a Mk4 GTI Golf now that I will hopefully work on that will fill the hole that I have now.

I **** that it has to go too, but unfortunately she has too in order for me to heal. Next project should be good fun, new VAG instead of old, and definitely going to have some fun with the new one.

Will sort out some photos and start a new thread on here when I get the chance.

It took a while but today I drop off Anja to a depot and it goes interstate.

A chapter ends and a new one begins.
