I wouldn't say this is a build thread but a wtf am I doing kinda of thread but anyways carrying on, so had my car for 3 years now just a stock 2008 sentra, aka box car. Was offered a kit for air suspension took the offer since I have yet to see one of my cars on air. basically took me a year to get the parts I have everything saving for install now, just having a few bumps in the road with how to do the paddle location and were to put everything. So far im living the 4x4 life to the fullest.

thoughts or opinions of the trunk set up and paddles? I've have been asking lately so thought I would post pictures of everything to make it easier for everyone.

yeah i think ill wanna do a hidden trunk set up or something like yours showing everything, going through a financial crisis with family at the moment so ill be broke for a couple of months, but do thank you for your help a lot!

Based on the 2 y fittings on ur bed, it looks like ur planning on running one 1/4 line to ur dash and then split it 4 ways to ur paddle valves? I can't imagin how slow that's gonna raise, I have a 1/4 line per paddle valve and I feel it raises at the perfect speed. If I were to do it again I would suggest running 2 1/2 lines to ur dash and then split each line into 2 1/4 for ur valves.

okay thanks i might have to look into that, im honestly only doing my air supsension and wheels, its a cvt and im fine with the stock hp i have i enjoy my car alot even being stock

I agree. I've got a single 3/8" to my valve block, and it's fairly slow. It takes about 1 second to move from aired-out to ride height, though to be fair, my car is very heavy and requires fairly high pressure at ride height. A 1/4" line has less than half the flow rate of a 3/8", so yeah, that's going to be very slow indeed.

If you're running 1/4" line to the bags, then you only need to flow enough air to your switches to max out the flow rate of 4x 1/4" lines. Based upon the cross-sectional area of the lines, I would either run 2x 3/8" lines or 1x 1/2" line to your valve block. 2x 1/2" lines wouldn't hurt, but it's overkill, IMO. 1/2" line would be my choice, just because it'll be easier to run a single line than a pair.

This is because 2x 3/8" lines together have 4.36x the cross-sectional area of a 1/4" line, and 1x 1/2" line has 4.89x the area. That's assuming you're using 1/4" line with .040" wall thickness, and 3/8" and 1/2" with .062" wall thickness, which are pretty standard.

You'll understand it soon with some reaserch, one thing I will suggest also is get ur compressors, air tank, and switches mounted, then run all ur lines from compressors to tank and then from the tank to ur valves and of course the gauge for tank pressure. Get all of that setup and leak free before you install your bags. It took me a few days after work just to get rid of all the leaks at my tank. Just use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray all fittings and connections.

I just noticed your gauges. In a previous conversation, you had indicated that you were going to run 200 PSI tank pressure in order to use all your 444cs' capability and get a little more range out of a small tank. If that's the case, that you are going to run 200 in the tank, the gauge that measures tank pressure will have to be able to read to 200 PSI. Your 150 PSI dual-needle gauges should be fine for bag pressure, however - I hit 140 PSI in the front aired all the way up on mine, and mine's a big heavy pig.

okay so should I be worried about the gauges? I believe I have a really simple kit, im not interested in the v2 management thought about it but decided against it.

If you're not going to have a management system, then I would absolutely have gauges, at least for all four corners. A tank gauge isn't essential, but it's a nice addition, and very useful both for when you're getting kinks out of the system immediately after installation, but also for detecting trouble in day-to-day operation. You'd just need to replace the tank gauge with a 200 PSI one and you'd be set with what you've got.
