took the front clip off working on wheel tire clearances, so after i had lowered the car off the jack i had played with the steering wheel moving it back and forth and i heard some unusual rubbing noises like metal on metal noises so i crawled under the car to check it out and found this

d2's have plenty of room still they go really low i could prob be tucking 2 inches of rim and still have more height adjustment, the dampening is nice feature too. but my only concern with these coil overs is the spring rate is too low! i need stiffer springs and this resulted in me fucking up my rear fenders :/Originally posted by Tom Marius View PostWow, did not expect this outcome!
How is the D2's working out for you? Are they maxxed out in the pictures?
u can see its slightly bent in from the rim hitting it( only from hitting a few pot holes but everyday smooth casual driving is fine)
anyone know good brand name spring upgrades?
i have not taking it in for a professional alignment yet cant find anyone that does it on lowered cars, but i did do one my self the old fashion way by taking a piece of string from rear wheel to front and adjusting the toes to sequence.Originally posted by DeltaAlpha9 View PostHuh, since when does Rota make a knock off of the CR-01? Seen many riding with Swift Springs. Don't know the quality of them personally though..

Thanks for the feedback regarding the D2's, how much did they set you back?

-new paint (front clip)
- more camber in the front
- raise motor couple inches
-different wheel color
-professional alignment
-order stiffer springs for rear (prob 20kg)
