The pressure switch is going to need an adapter. It's 1/8 and all my ports are 1/4.

Bring it to SLC, UT. I can get it on air. Interested to see one on the ground.

Your rear looks a lot like mine on my 2012 Spec V. I was thinking in the back you could use the upper bump stop and cut the top off, make a cup to hold that in and use it for the top mount so you don't have to weld anything on. The bottom will also be a custom bracket that you will want to run a bolt through the bottom of the control arm. I was going to also use the thin bag like the VW's use. It's the only thing that will fit in there. Due to funds I have yet to get started.(

You'll need a pressure switch so the compressor knows when to turn on and off. You'll need a 40A relay (minimum) to feed an OB2, and a power wire of sufficient gauge to run it. The power wire will have to be fused with a 40A fuse somewhere near the battery, before the wire goes through any bulkheads. You'll also need a 200 psi safety valve somewhere in the system to vent excess pressure if the compressor fails to shut down at the pressure switch's off point.
EDIT: Just to make it easy, you want this, this, this, and this. Other brands are available. Don't hesitate to bump that power supply cable to something bigger if you think you're going to run any additional electrical in the rear at any point.Last edited by Oh Damn, it's Sam; 03-21-2014, 11:33 PM.

About to order a couple of things. Anything else I would need?
Basically I want to have on board air for the time being. I have plugs for all the other openings. I just need to run power to the battery. Not sure what I need to buy for that. Or some sort of relay switch?

I live in Denver Colorado. I've talked to a few shops in town but I want a very reputable shop who has lots of experience in air. I'm playing around with the idea of even driving out to California this summer. Dropping the car off at a shop and taking a mini vacation.

Not to be creepybut where are you located? I'd love to be able to build a kit for one of these.
