Yeah that gauge cluster is mental. Im glad you refined it. The first iteration was cool, but it was missing something. Looks perfect now imo.

            1. Engine acquired
            2. Needs a bit of cleaning
            3. Polish or powder coat the coolant pipe
            4. Fresh coat of paint
            5. Then wait to get the rest of the pieces to the puzzle

A little update on CHLTRTL progress
Took out sunroof assembly due to it wasting a lot of space, once the roof is open I am losing about 1in upfront, 1 ½in on the sides, and about 3-4in in the back, and without it’s much more open and makes the car a bit lighter, just need to come up with manual assembly that will let me slide the sunroof inside the car unlike stock way.

                  Mmmmmm best cup holder ever

Pressure washed it, sanded it, cleaned it, and….

Gave it fresh coat of paint)

Threw head on, cams, Jays alt relocation kit
I am using 7bolt head on a 6bolt block, so had to drill out the holes to 12mm for head studs
p.s. Kelford 272/272, Super tech valves +1, BC springs, 3g revised lifters, aem cams

I know, timing belt is incorrect, I threw it on just to see how pretty it looks)

Tranny took a leak had to give it a bath and installed powder coated mounts with poly bushings

After pressure wash, sooo much better and pleasant to look at

                  Aluminum flywheel

                  ECMlink

I feel like I am proposing to my car haha
                  And it is in

                  Upgraded the fuel pump

Installed battery connectors for alternator and starter

Finally received coil-on-plug, will probably leave it raw to give some character

Got 1 wheel to test fit it and see how much of a work it will be to MAKE THE CAR FIT THE WHEELS
                  Not too bad mate

Adjusted the coils a bit more, its tight but should work once i'll try it again with tires mounted

And last but not least, the trunk spoiler, cannot wait to finish it, should look sick
I tried to keep the car body lines and spoiler so it would flow together as much as possible and I think its getting there

Was contemplating for a while which way to have the spoiler
                  Option 1

                  Option 2

So I went with Opt 1, I think it has better line transition from spoiler to quarter panel, just a rough draft for now, needs more sanding, and then fiberglass

I like how it turns out so far

Till next time, should be much closer to finish this damn thing

BE CAREFUL! I don't think thermoplastic connectors are rated high enough, amperage-wise, to handle the amps that usually pass thru automotive systems-wouldn't want to see an engine fire because of it! Check spec sheet to make sure. If you did, NVM.

Got it from Michael's store, its floral block foam, very easy to work with, love it

TBT before the shop and all the shenanigans giving it a little push with my cousin

Before and after I redid my wiring, removed 5-6 feet of wires

Engine is in and wiring for headlights is on point, didn’t burn on me and works great

Custom hot side and cold side IC piping from @cmbuildz came out great, give him a follow on Instagram and hit him up for your car needs

                            MMmmmmsome holset sexiness

FIT THE CAR TO THE WHEELS, WHY NOT

                            Sick looking Custom 4” exhaust

Started it last week on E85, ECU fried, waiting on it to be fixed. sounds Beastly cant wait to tune and dyno it
