I like the mock up of the V2 controller, also I did the same thing as you and dumped the ash tray to replace with the cubby. I also picked up this [ame="http://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Wireless-Qi-Enabled-Incredible-Single-Position/dp/B00H9B7ALK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417761321&sr=8-2&keywords=Wireless+phone+charger"]Amazon.com: RAVPower Wireless Charger Charging Pad Qi-Enabled USB Charger Phone Charger for Nexus 5 / 7 / 4; Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, S3, Note3, Note2; Droid Charge; LG Optimus LTE2, Spectrum; HTC Rezound, Incredible 2, Incredible 4 LTE; Motorola Droid 4; Nokia Lumia 920 and other Other Qi-Enabled Phones (Black, Free Ac Adapter Included, Single-Position, 5V / 1.5A Input, Powered by AC Adapter or USB Port): Cell Phones & Accessories[/ame] and placed it underneath the rubber mat and just wired it into where I had the cig lighter. Works perfect and all I have to do is drop my phone into the cubby! Just food for thought lol I saw it on youtube and thought it was an awesome idea.
Got a package today. 335iS air ducts, air vent and a compartment for the center console.
Never really had a place to store my phone while driving (this is where I used to have the iPod, rocker switch and digigauge.
The stock ash tray:
The plan was to do a direct swap, but then I got the idea to move over the lights and lighter. Nice to have a charger there as well.
New to the left, old to the right:
Disassembly, drilling holes and fitting stuff again:
All done
Next up was the air ducts. I never use the fog lights and the extra cooling is nice:
Yeah, the toe arms are the part that I think I would need. They sell the brackets by themselves, but not the arms. I'm pretty sure that compressed height would be fine for me, as I tuck the lips at about 80-85 psi. I think the only way I could gain more room is to switch to a 1M battery tray.
Wow, really? I cant tuck 18's, cause the Konis bottom out just on top of the lip.
Originally I don't have much space under the false floor. i just make more room
I don't know if bag riders could sell you the brackets alone. You could make your own brackets if you know how to weld. I'm just replacing the Air Hose 1 bags with SS5 and using the same brackets.
I think you would need the toe arms from the kit also. And I'm swapping to Bilstein shocks cause they have a smaller diameter.
I don't have the exact measurements here but compared from specs:
Air house 1 are:
2.0" Compressed, 7" Extended, 5.875" Diameter
SS5 are:
2.7" Compressed, 8.625" Extended 8.625", 5.5" Diameter
I just hope they are short enough compressed!

Man, you e9x guys have a ton of space in the trunk. I wish my battery wasn't in the middle of mine. If you can, I'd like to see your measurements of the SS5 bags compared to the UAS kit.
To run the SS5 bags, I would have to buy the UAS kit and then the SS5 bags? Is everything from the UAS kit necessary, or could I just purchase the bag brackets and bolt them in? I already have Konis and don't really want to pony up the $1200 or so for the airlift rear kit.

This thing is great. Subscribed to see progression=)
Thank you!

I have decided to swap my management from Accuair eLevel to Airlift Autopilot V2. The main reason is that I could not get left/right pressures even, resulting in the car pulling sideways with WOT. And with that I decided to rebuild the whole trunk. Next up is:
- Air Lift 5 gallon tank
- Air Lift V2
- Aluminum hardlines
- Alcantara/Leather upholstery
- 10" subwoofer + amplifier
The hardlines will not be too fancy with tons of curves, but a simple and clean install. And hoping to get the V2 controller molded into the air vent under the navigation screen.
I'm also swapping the rear bags to Slam Specialties SS5 due to rubbing with the UAS-kit......
It's a slow progress, but I've got all winter to finish this.
Fresh start:
The original plastic box:
Started cutting and made a box for the compressor and a box for the subwoofer:
After that I covered the underside of it with fiberglass, polyester and gelcoat. I didn't take pictures during the process, but here is where I am now. Waiting for it to dry and then paint it black.
