BMW E92 335i - progress thread

Bought too big tires, 215/40 and 255/35. The result was the car not going low enough on the front, the top of the wheel well layed down on top of the tire. And the rear fenders lay down on the tires.









Also I bought a M-tech kit and coilovers for my daily


Removed the tires and dialed in the fitment I want






I'm getting 225/35 and 245/35 tires on wednesday and hoping that will be enough. Will probably have to shave the fenders as well.

That is all for now!

Further plans are CPS front lip, CF diffuser and new exhaust. And maybe LCI tail lights.

Winter came and the car was parked. Bought a winter beater (E36 316i) Installed the Zeatech Digigauge to have control of the pressures and an iPod-docking.























Next up was new wheels. Got my hands on some OZ Futuras 9.5+11x18 ET19.




Did a really quick test fit








I was not 100% happy with the trunk and had very limited space in there when travelling to car shows. So I decided to redo the trunk, use the oem- floor and move the tank under the rear window














I realized I don't have any pictures of the trunk finished, but I'll fix that later.

Finally connected the display

Spent endless hours wrapping the inside of the trunk with black fabric. I've never liked the grey color.










Had to paint the grey plastic to match the rest

Next up was the install of the bags/shocks. I was so exited i didn't take any pictures of the install. But here is the first attempt















The rest of the season was mainly driving and having fun
















One of the crimps on the rear bag failed while the car was on jack stands. Bag Riders sent me a new one immediately!

I have a few threads in the showroom forums, but I'm kinda bored and wanted to share the progress so far. And I know I will never be finished with the car.

I have the kit from Bag Riders with air lift front struts, sleeve rear bags and koni shocks, accuair elevel, iLevel and Zaetech display.

Got the car imported from Germany to Norway May 2013 and was all stock.















After 4 days I installed H&R lowering springs while saving up for bags




Bought some pretty beat up Rondell D58s just for fun. Polished the lips and they fit surprisingly well




Didn't like the black grilles on a black car so I replaced the frames with chrome ones, and used the black inner grilles again. (a combo of chrome and performance grilles)




LED angel eyes and AFE cold air intake




Ordered the management first while saving up some more money for the bags. Started to build the trunk set up


Removed the everything inside the trunk and started to plan where to place everything

Had to make some spacers due to the tank being a little to wide
