I just looked closely over your components in the pic above. It looks like you've got a pressure switch, but I believe SwitchSpeed comes with its own digital pressure sensor. Unless you've got something interesting planned for that switch, you won't need it.

Also, since you're running a tank pressure gauge, you'll have to find a spot to thread in a sensor, or use something like a gauge tee (http://bagriders.com/modlab/products...GAUGE-TEE.html) inline on the feed to the VU4 or the line that runs to the tank.

I didn't buy the switchspeed package as I only need the manifold and the controller and wiring. My bag rider rep was trying to convince me to spend the $400 because I got a free line cutter and free line (although I already bought 60ft). My experience had greatly changed with br and I've started ordering elsewhere.

The pressure sensor I have will work correct since I didn't buy the switchspeed one? Or do I need to order it?

Ordered switchspeed today, I didn't have the funds to safely pick up and be alright for the next week for VU4 so I bought my front bags.

All I need is the rear two bags and VU4!

I'll try to explain.

Currently my coilover sits about 3" away (roughly as I couldn't 100% see the tape measure from my angle) from the barrel of wheel and has a diameter of 62mm or 2.45 inches.

The bag has a diameter of 5.875" fully compressed and 5.5 when extended leaving me .125 of an inch of play when fully compressed if I'm thinking about all of this correctly. This applys for front and rear.

I'm already running 32mm spacers in the front, and 38mm in the rear. If I move the 38mm to the front, and pick up a 45 or so for the rear I should have enough play but i'm concerned that may be "too much" spacer. But, I don't have 2,000 for a lip and barrel rebuild of my wheels, nor do I have the funds to buy another set of wheels, and the trades i've been offered for my wheels have actually been worse speced than my current ones.


I'm looking for fender lip fitment as my end goal, I had planned on picking up another set of wheels in 4-5 months to do a full rebuild on (once I recover from the bag setup costs) I just don't have the extra money right now.

Shouldn't. Get as much as you can off the fittings with a rag, and then wipe it down with solvent. Obviously you don't want your solvent rag to be so wet that any of the mineral spirits wick into the threads.

In reality, most of what pipe dope like Rectorseal is doing is lubricating the threads with teflon to let you get them tighter. Same thing that teflon tape does. Pipe dope has some sealing qualities (Rectorseal advertises "synthetic fibers", whatever the hell that means), but that's a bonus.
