Not sure how deep I'm going to get in this truck. Just picked it up and wanted to give it some love.

65 SWB Straight 6, 3 on the floor. 83k original miles

    When I picked it up:

Fitting the 22" smoothies (soon to be painted dark red).

Needs to come down 1/2 in the front, and 2 1/2 - 3 inches in the rear.

Rebuilt the entire brake system, front/rear bearings. Pretty sure this truck was completely factory (aside from the cut springs, and donor bed). Front hubs were still riveted to the drums as per factory.

    Other builds:
    LSX 72mm turbo, 6 speed, 8.8 etc... 1989 Volvo 245

1931 Model A Cut down to a 2 door, chopped, channeled, built 327/th350

And a bunch others that I won't list because it would take too long...

Is that the Volvo that was in the show Pass Times? ...or whatever it's called.

No. Aside from a few build threads, I have not whored it out. It's still relatively unknown. BUT, no one had ever done it in a 245 until we did. Also, no one had ever fit a 6 speed in a factory tunnel without cutting it up until we did it.

I have since pretty much walked a few guys through the build and now there are a few other wagons, but all are NA.

Awesome looking truck. I have a '66 long bed step side, and it has a hydraulic lifting bed. Still use it on the farm regularly.

Got a ton of work done on the truck today.

Scored a good driver window and regulator off fleabay, so I threw those in today.

I wanted to cut the springs until I realized that that you pretty much can't with these trucks. So PO took a torch to them. Would explain why the truck is bouncy.

Looking into a set of springs. Possibly 4/6 drop. Really want to bag it, but will probably end up selling it before then.

Will get some pics tomorrow in the daylight.
