Jason, when this car is done (finally).. my son will probably be driving it..lol you know, the 7 yr old..haha

Updates.. i have a set of manual sport seats from a 1983 944, i've stripped the black leather that was in decent condition with some split seams and a few tears (the skins are on ebay right now if anyone is interested in vintage 31yr old Porsche leather). the sports will be reskinned in champagne.

i also have Koni m030 spec front and rear shocks, adjustable front camber plates, and m030 front and rear sway bars.

the dash trim panels have been hydrodipped to match the rosewood Dino steering wheel.

the engine is completely torn down, and (still) on the stand in the garage, but ready to assemble.

Oh, and I've since picked up a 1994 Lexus GS300 na-t with blown rings. That will be getting my Aristo 2jzgte single turbo, and the Lexus is already sporting the stock 1988 Porsche 944 base power seats from this car. A set of 18" Volk GT7s are sitting in the closet for it too. Maybe I'll do a build thread on it ..later

      never enough..always too much

Did you buy those OZ Velas from a guy in Myrtle Beach? If so I was the guy that sold them to him haha.

Umm...I traded a set of e39 type 32s for them years ago. Guy from Charleston in a tt.

I like the look of the oz, but rebuilding them was a PITA and the Gottis were more suited to the car

Btw the velas are back in Charleston, traded a guy with a 930 for the Gottis. .

Update pics, work over the past months
                hydro dip

                Early 944 manual sport seats

starting refurbishing..only thing needing replacement or repair is one lower bolster. the interior will bevreskinned in champagne, a darker tan that was a rare option.

Engine is stripped to the bone, cylinders rehoned with a special paste I had to find.

I need to decide on coilover spring rates, but the shocks are handled

                And camber plates

This is how it looks most of the time unfortunately

                          That dashboard!

I am not usually a fan of fake wood treatments, but that just does wonders to the interior. Incredible.
