annnd coming to you all the way from page 96... has it really been that long?

I have lots of cool new parts for this build, but never put them to use. Latest acquisitions are forged rods and turbo pistons. she will be force fed. one day. so much to do

I think I'm getting hints, seems like every time I look at the clock it shows 9:44

Page 36 will never do. .. update is that I've picked up an early 85 944 on a trade for my daily driver 318ti.

Enjoying driving the car and fixing small things which unfortunately means I have cannibalized my parts pile for this 88. Still going though, now I'm inspired to finish my 88 again, And spring is coming!

Thanks for the kind regards guys. Merry Christmas. I hope to be behind the wheel of this car by summer this year, and ready for Jason to get some shots that will do it justice.

Lots to do, not the least of which is assemble the engine, and convert the car to a manual transmission.

I have lots of 944 extras early and later cars if anyone is interested. Mostly interior and NA engine parts..every dollar helps

Btw the velas are back in Charleston, traded a guy with a 930 for the Gottis. .

    That dashboard!

I am not usually a fan of fake wood treatments, but that just does wonders to the interior. Incredible.

Update pics, work over the past months
    hydro dip

    Early 944 manual sport seats

starting refurbishing..only thing needing replacement or repair is one lower bolster. the interior will bevreskinned in champagne, a darker tan that was a rare option.

Engine is stripped to the bone, cylinders rehoned with a special paste I had to find.

I need to decide on coilover spring rates, but the shocks are handled

    And camber plates

This is how it looks most of the time unfortunately
