Dude I honestly just didn't see it. I was concentrating so hard on the part of the road I could see it didn't occur to me to look to that side. I was on that side of the road because (don't know if it's visible in the pics) there was a big speed bump I was trying to get over. I caught it at the last second and slammed on the brakes but it was too late.

The big rut was only 6" to a foot wide, and it looked pretty normal actually when you were coming up on it because it was a cliff and you couldn't really see the bottom.

Short answer: I'm an idiot. Lesson learned. This is the first lowered car I've ever had, I need to scope out roads better before I drive places.

Everyone in the Mazda community hates these; the first and third gens are typically though to look better. This one is the black sheep.

Test fit a buddy's BBS RS, 17x10.5 +20 with 215/45 tires. It looks so stupid lol. Meaty. 17s are way too small.
