quick test fit on the rears

Decided to return to front rims and get a slimmer wheel. The 10.5s with tires (315s could get myself to put stretched tires on a 5000lb vehicle). I expect another 1.5 inch drop in the rear when I install the Helper springs.

Oh BTW this is the second cv joint that I blew this month, front driver side. Any ideas how to preserve the joints with a slammed car? The repairs are really digging into my piggy bank for parts.

Going to order shorter struts and swift springs with higher rates. The coil is bottoming out due to the droop with Helper springs

The helper spring would hold the shock at a higher point so would reduce bottoming out. Also removing the helper spring would allow you to go lower not the other way round. Maybe I'm not reading it right :/

the only way to explain it properly is to see it. it really works. The helper spring compresses before the main spring thus adjusting the droop on the strut making the car sit lower by reducing shock travel. It also keepes the main spring tight on rebound. Sorry haven't updated this in a while. It's now on air lift builder kit bags with autopilot v2. Sits pretty low but not low enough. Thinking about going with some ferrada fr3 20x11.5. Ihave to redo all the arms and notch the rear sub frame. In North Carolina for military training so I haven't been around very much. Will upload some pics later tn
