Basically it creates a vacuum on the internals of the engine through the valve cover pcv ports, reduces positive crankcase pressure and can give a bit of a power increase but nothing worth writing home about.

I absolutely love your fabrication work every time I see this=) Nutserts/rivnuts are incredible. I used them on parts of my compact.

A little bit of a random update

Found some way back in the day pics of when I pulled the N/A engine out and bought a wrecked donor

     photo 0802081523-00.jpg

    This thing got rocked hard

     photo 0802081524-01.jpg

Mmmm brown and tan interior just wonderful...

     photo 0802081524-03.jpg

Back when I was like "what ever high school you suck"

     photo 98725233_0.jpg

Day dreaming about all the people making fun of my red valve covers

     photo 168810-R1-05-8_006.jpg

"Sup bae wanna come over", "No"

     photo 98725233_5.jpg

Right here I am like "fuck ya!"

     photo 98725233_6.jpg

Its in this exact moment I realized I accidentally put the old N/A motor back in

     photo 98725233_7.jpg

Wish I had more pics of all the work but I really didn't care to document back then, and yes these were all taken on a disposable camera

Anyways back to the cool stuff, I never posted the charge tubing brace all finished and welded

     photo DSC01860.jpg

Drivers side had a little bit of a change but nothing to noticeable

     photo DSC01862.jpg

     photo DSC01863.jpg

I also finished the catch can brace

Thread setters are genius little tools

     photo DSC01669.jpg

you drill a hole for the appropriate thread insert and set the tool into position squeeze the handle and just like that you have an instant anchor anywhere you please

     photo DSC01817.jpg

Machined / threaded some brass hex bar stock, turned some 1" aluminum bar and utilized some 1/4" stainless rod

     photo DSC01825.jpg

     photo DSC01822.jpg

    On to the venturi system

Here is the -an lines for the valve covers run, the lower red fittings are -10 and these will be the venturi ports

     photo DSC01824.jpg

The business end of the venturi

     photo DSC01820.jpg

    Bung hole to be welded

     photo DSC01818.jpg

    Bung hole, hole

     photo DSC01827.jpg

    Final resting place

    Fantastic build!

As for your brakes, I some Brembo GT 6 pistons lying around here and the pictures do not do the brakes justice, they are MASSIVE. They should do a nice job of basing your organs into your ribs when you hit the middle pedal.
