thanks
it was inexpensive to build it that way but i would highly recommend doing it once the right way and get full body coilovers like bc, fortune, broadways etc. youll get a much nicer ride and youll know its reliable stuff

hopefully this weekend once i get paid ill be ordering my euro bumpers, and possibly picking up a new engine. The one i have is just gonna be too much money to be worth it. so im trying to pick up a running one and selling the one i have.
thanks

So I need to fix the fact that there's no threads for one of my spark plugs or buy a bare head. Minor setback but nothing I can't take care of

Had a day off today, i spent most of it going out to buy a new light for my garage, and i got the block completely torn down, just have to get it hot tanked or baked somewhere, then i can see exactly what im working with in the cylinders. but i did decide im going to go with the 3.0 stroker, since it needs pistons anyways and if im going to put that money into it, i might as well build it how i want.
i wont know for sure how bad the walls are until i get the block well cleaned. but at least 4 still have crosshatching
i should be able to use my buddies dads machine shop to bore the block out myself, but i need to find a rotating assembly first and measure everything.

well heres the update with said pictures of the engine,
parts i got with it. valve cover, harness, two plastic covers, ones cracked. also an e34 pan pickup and dipstick.
thats how the engine was stored, no oil pan or vc on it, not so great, shouldve been a giveaway of what was inside...
dont know why i didnt take a picture of the outside of the door, but its just a door, in good shape. and complete at that so im happy with it
all loaded up in my pos focus wagon,
picked up an engine stand for $30, was gonna start cleaning the block up, but i decided instead to tear into the engine and see what im dealing with
surface rust on the cams, but it comes off with wd40 and a rag, so thats not very bad, besides im going to swap different cams in anyways
the really bad part. cylinder walls are toast, a couple pistons are toast, basically i have a couple options at this point. either have them re honed or resleeved and get another set of stock pistons, but more likely what ill do is get a rotating assembly from an m54b30 and build it to a 3.0 stroker
the good thing is, i paid $300 for everything, which was a great deal. and once i saw was inside i sent a picture to the guy i bought it from and he agreed to send me back $150. So either way i got a good deal and im really glad the guy was cool about the situation, he really didnt know the engine was that bad
