did a few things, but i was feeling super lazy today so its amazing anything got done at all.

    took off the harness/coolant lines/accessory belt/accessories

also started mocking up the core support, got too tired when it came time to start cutting out the mounts to be welded in so i gave up after that

a friend picked me up some 16 gauge steel to redo the big flat sections over the frame rails so they'll be nice and sturdy. that should get done tomorrow since i only work a short day, and ill be gettin some nut serts from fastenal to mount the core support. there will be 8 bolts holding it in place when all is said and done. should work perfectly

Very nice interior also, I got the privilege of seeing it in person too at a local drift event. Love that car so much. The plaid looks great for oem.

I'm bored so i figured i would show you all the interior im getting.

Was talking to my friend stephen (white sr20 swapped e30 on rs's) at H2O about wanting to find a plaid interior, and he actually had one in his car, which i for some reason had never noticed. about a month after the show he said he would sell it, so i told him if he'd wait a couple months I'd come up to canada and buy it. well that time is coming soon, Im going up on the 15th to pick it up! im really excited.

    heres what it looks like:

do you know if the e30m3 harness cover for the battery tray will still work with your removed/modified battery tray?

i got the passenger side of my bay tucked over the weekend. need to dial in my megasquirt and i can start in on the driver's side.
yeah the harness cover should only come out to where the edge of the tray is cut, if not i can always modify it

Now that the motor is here I'm gonna do work.

Gonna strip everything off the motor today after work, clean the damn thing and get my e34 pan mounted.

I also forgot to mention I picked up new spindles for $10 to use with my coilovers when I get them, and dropped off my front and rear subframes with a friend to get sandblasted. Should be getting stuff back next week and close to getting ready to test fit the wheels soon.

Meanwhile the bay is getting pretty close, I'm trying to have the core support bolt in this week and picking up more steel to finish everything, then its just filler and paint hopefully before mid February.

Glad I got my setup second hand.
He claims he doesn't want to be liable or have his part be the cause of a car accident. I am just going to order through a friend now since you guys seem to know it is fine for street use=)
