Small update.
Unfortunately, the swap has been put off till after SoWo.
In the mean time I've been trying to get the 8v running.
replaced the main fuel pump and relay...only to drop the tank
to see what happens when a car sits with a half tank of gas for 13 years..
Ordered a new tank and in-tank pump.
Hopefully it'll be running soon.

For now my buddy may let me borrow his bus wheels, and I'll just cut a few coils out since the stock suspension is shot and I'll have to either fab coils or import a set from Brazil from the Parati.

Such a cool little wagon. There's one in my area on craigslist, but it has no price and no real information. They guy was unfriendly. Didn't seem worth the time. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

Small update:

Sourced a new gas tank and intake pump. Now I just need a fuel sending unit (hopefully thats it)
All the ones in the local picknpull weren't worth taking.

Edit: I've sourced a fuel sending unit from a member on the Vortex!

Updates:

replaced the tank, fuel sending unit, in tank pump, secondary pump, fuel injectors.
I neutralized what little rust this thing had and picked up a set of rollers.

I picked up some used Axis OG San 15x7 et 35 w 195/50s at a decent deal to hold me over for now. I'll get some pics of the fox on the bus wheels.. I'm open to suggestions for "real wheels"

I also cut two coils from the front and rear (don't get your panties in a wad, it's only till the coilovers are fabricated)
